I’d like to offer you my story to share with others if you choose.
About seven years ago, just after turning 40, I made an appointment in Phoenix to go for an evaluation for Liposuction. I had done a bit of research on the Internet about this procedure and felt I was possibly the perfect candidate. As it turned out, the appointment was cancelled due to the doctor running behind in his schedule. It had taken a bit of courage for me to make the appointment in the first place, so I was hesitant to reschedule. Now I know why -- I truly believe that God places people in the pathway of our lives for a reason.
After meeting you (seven years later) and learning about your practice, I once again became very interested in the possibility of having the Liposuction procedure. The first time I visited your office, I was so overwhelmed with all the before/after pictures I saw that I couldn’t decide if I really wanted to do the Liposuction or have some facial work done. Your work was incredible! I had no idea that it was possible to get the amazing results that you do -- God has truly blessed you in your profession. It was all so appealing that it made it hard to choose. I remember the one question you asked me as I was leaving the office -- “What really bothers you the most about the way you look?” As I walked back to my car, I remember thinking that there had been no pressure on me to commit to a procedure after you had spent all that time answering my questions. I appreciated that.
Being tall, I have always had the luxury of being able to “hide” the extra fat I had around my abdomen. Even when I weighed 30 pounds less, I still had these rolls of fat that I hated. I didn’t really have a waist so most clothing that fit me everywhere else was very uncomfortable there. I decided to go for the Liposuction and scheduled the procedure. I have to admit it took a bit of encouragement from my friends and some of your
staff and even upon returning to
Little Rock on December 11, I was still a little anxious about having the procedure.
December 13th I went to the surgery center and a few hours later came out a new person. I knew there would be some pain, and there was, but nothing I wouldn’t go through again for these results. I now find myself “bearing my belly” to show off the nice new tummy and waist that I have. Everyone is amazed at how there are no scars. I am so very pleased with the results that I want to encourage everyone to do it if they had ever thought about it -- at the very least, go talk to
Dr. English and his
staff to see what your options are. It has been a real boost for me since I feel so much better about myself and now that I have this nice waist (thanks, Doc!) my clothes fit so much better. I actually lost a whole pant size (from a very tight 6 to a comfortable 4) when the two quarts of fat went away from my abdomen.
I didn’t realize just HOW happy I was with my results until I went back to the office for my “after” pictures about ten months later. I had completely forgotten how I looked prior to the surgery and once I saw the photos, I am even more pleased with my decision to have the procedure done and to have you do it. I can’t begin to say thank you enough for all that you did for me. You and your staff are very warm, caring and friendly and it shows in all that you do.

I have a very competitive career in television sales. I began to feel intimidated because as I turned 50, the company was hiring 30 year olds. In January of 2002, I made the decision to have a total
facelift. The surgery was Thursday and I went back to work the following Wednesday. I was in no pain, however, my face was swollen so I only did office work. In February, I was Salesperson of the Month. Again, in April, May, June and July I was Salesperson of the Month. I began to realize that my confidence level had catapulted my sales to a new level.
Let’s face it. When you look better, you feel better and then you sell better. I just won Salesperson of the Year at KATV. I am the first person in the history of the company to win this award for their second year in television. Also, I am the first person to win the award by winning five months out of the year. ABC in New York recently did a news story on how people who had
facelifts got promotions at work. I do believe it is true.
I wouldn’t trust my face to any other doctor. I have pictures of me in 1989 and now in 2002. I look younger, feel younger, act younger and absolutely love my job. If I had to put my money in an investment, it would be in my face. I have earned more than it cost me for the surgery double back in sales. I just closed a half a million dollar account last week.
I feel it is an investment in my career, Dr. English. You performed surgery on my
eyelids, my chin and a total

Dear Dr. English,
I have never asked three physicians for a referral and had them all three refer me to one physician until last year when I found myself in need of some reconstructive surgery. Three physicians, all with different specialties, from different medical centers in
Little Rock, referred me to you.
Having been under your care for almost four months, it is very easy for me to understand why I was referred to you. Your thorough examination revealed a much more serious problem than was first identified; one which would not have been identified until later with potentially much more serious consequences. You spent that time necessary with me to make sure I understood the procedure you were going to perform. You answered all the questions I thought to ask before I had left your office, fully and without hesitation during the time leading up to the surgery.
Having had this procedure 25 years ago, I was dreading the same recovery period and discomfort I had experienced during that time. This time my discomfort level was almost non-existent and my recovery time was less than half from my previous experience. I attribute this directly to your skill as a surgeon and your ability to put an apprehensive patient at ease prior to and after surgery.
I also want to complement you on your staff. I have visited your office no less than 7 times. Each and every time I was met with a genuine smile from all your staff whether they worked in a direct patient care capacity or not. Your entire staff was genuinely concerned for my well being. After my surgery, a member of your staff contacted me daily for the next seven days, including that Christmas and the following weekend. I cannot tell you how impressive this was to me.
Dr. English, I have been a licensed medical professional for over 25 years. I have rarely seen, much less experienced, such a high level of patient care as I have from you and your
staff at English Plastic Surgery Center & Surgi-Spa. You and your
staff provide an excellent example of how patient care should be approached. I experienced a professional personal touch almost non-existent in medicine today. I will have no hesitation referring anyone to you for his or her health care nor do I have any hesitation in speaking to any patient about my experience while under your care.

I first met Dr. English about 7 years ago. My son was 22 years old at the time. He had heard so many great things about Dr. English and also had been fortunate enough to see his work. He wanted his nose fixed, which had been broken several times over the years. My husband and I were both very impressed with Dr. English the first time we met him. He has a confidence about him that comes across to you immediately. That's so important to me. His work is so natural looking it's unbelievable. You think the person was born that way.
Since then, he has sewn my earlobe back together due to wearing heavy pierced earrings over the years. Everyone was astonished at the work. You couldn't find any evidence of it having been sewn.
On January 6 of this year, he moved over my septum and tilted up my nose. All I can say is that I love it and my profile looks beautiful. I wish I had known him much earlier in my life. I know I would have had a lot more self-esteem and confidence.
Dr. English has a warm, friendly personality. He is a wonderful Christian and family man. In my opinion, he is a perfectionist about his work and takes great pride in it.
He has a wonderful staff working for him. I was called everyday to see if I was doing okay. They make sure the procedure goes well for you. I don't remember experiencing any pain. I wouldn't hesitate to do it again.
Whatever a person wants to have done, whether it's a chin implant, facelift, your nose made to look better etc., you owe it to yourself to go to the most competent and best in his field. I know that I have and I am thankful for it.

I came to know Dr. English in 1993 when I had my ears pinned (otoplasty); my experience was wonderful and I was, and still am, very pleased with the results. Consequently, when I decided to have a breast augmentation procedure in November 1999, it never occurred to me to consider anyone but Dr. English. I have tremendous respect for him and his work. Dr. English is wonderful and never made me feel uncomfortable. Everyone in the clinic is very friendly and always willing to help. It has been three months since my breast augmentation procedure, and I am elated with the results. I feel so much better about myself and the way I look in my clothes. Initially, I was worried about scarring but have been delighted to see my scars virtually disappear in only three months. Dr. English is superior!
